Market Managers are the strategic and operational leaders of the Branch Teams assigned. They are also the "face" of Telhio Credit Union; representing the Telhio image during all interactions with members, potential members, and their associates. They ensure that their staff (Tellers, MSR's, FSR's and ABM's) create and maintain a welcoming, friendly environment for members as soon as they enter the doors or begin drive-through transactions; a "you own it" environment. MM's model the appropriate behaviors in everything they do. They step in to process a variety of personal and business financial transactions for members, including problem solving, and opening and closing accounts for members. In addition, they inform members about other Telhio products and services from which they could benefit; process consumer loans, including equity loans. In addition, the focus of the Market Manager is to increase membership by their involvement in the community in which their assigned branches serve, deepen relationships with the membership by increasing products per member, and ensure the member service levels are meeting set expectations.  

• Directs all retail sales activities to promote corporate growth of all products and services as defined by the annual budget and business plan.
• Ensures that staff assists members with new, efficient delivery channels to blend the effective use of people and technology.
• Be a visible and active leader in the communities near their branches.
• Visiting established small business members to assess needs and provide product and services solutions
• Develops staff through regular, on-going weekly or monthly coaching, motivation, and staff meetings for the purpose to help employees achieve personal and corporate objectives.
• Provides for timely performance evaluations and coordinates all Human Resource functions to include, but not limited to: hiring, training, coaching, motivating, evaluating and terminating with the assistance of the Director of Human Resources.
• Assumes responsibility for all branch operations to ensure that branch security, cash policies and procedures, and budgetary controls are followed. Ensures daily that proper opening, closing and routine office security measures have been followed and safe working conditions are maintained.
• Seeks ways to effectively improve branch operations and staff morale to achieve goals and productivity, standards, and maintain a productive and efficient team.
• Makes risk assessment decisions within established levels of authority as deemed necessary for this position, i.e., lending, check cashing, member service, etc.
• Solves member and employee issues to maintain a friendly, professional image of the credit union.
• Upholds the Telhio vision: to provide a full range of accessible financial services through multiple Retail Delivery options at a reduced cost to our members, with the objective to continually improve member satisfaction.
• Reinforces the Marketing Mission: to provide extraordinary service through ordinary people doing everyday things.
• Responsible for compliance with all required regulations and polices, especially with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required to ensure member service standards are met.

• Bachelor degree in business or related field and/or commensurate experience.
• Three years of branch operations in a financial institution
• Experience managing multiple branch locations
• Three years of management experience
• Strong computer/PC skills. Must have ability to operate standard office equipment such as copier and calculator.
• Communicate effectively and correctly, both verbally and in writing. Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with members and staff
• Present a positive and professional image.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines.
• Organize and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in math and calculations related to financial products
• Understands department procedures and applies job related education skills and experiences into job performance.
• Must maintain confidentiality of all member account activities and personnel interaction.
• Possesses "team" attitude and professionalism.
• Procedure Development skills

• Knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures
