Chaco, A Telhio Credit Union is currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to fill full–time Bank Teller  - Retail Professional Position at our Park Avenue  location.

This Bank Teller - Retail Professional position is expected to provide extraordinary member service. This position must be able to successfully sell, refer, educate and answer  questions regarding financial / banking products and services availabe at Telhio. This position also performs Member account maintenance and general member banking transactions.  The individual in this bank teller - Retail position has a high level of public and member contact and therefore must display a positive and professional image as well as dress in business professional attire. The indvididual must be able to work M-F 9AM to 6PM and two Saturdays per month 9AM to 1PM.

Essential Duties

  • Take responsibility and accountability in following all service standards set forth by the credit union
  •  Build member relationships through selling and referring credit union products and services to meet members' financial needs through face-to-face and calling efforts
  •  Adhere to established policies and procedures set forth in controlling cash funds assigned
  • Maintain member confidentiality at all times
  • Perform teller transactions as requested by membership
  • Balance cash drawer and perform all end of day functions
  • Maintain service, product, and operations knowledge, as well as, knowledge of all regulatory compliance regulations applicable to job responsibilities
  • Adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) through completing reports accurately and as required by law
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  •  Individual in this position may be pulled to work in another department / branch and perform other duties at anytime and as business needs require.



  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Previous experience in sales in a goal environment is required
  • Cash handling and banking experience preferred
  • Candidate must be professional and posses effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills are required to
  • provide a high level of accuracy on all transactions
  • The individual must be able to work M-F 9AM to 6PM and two Saturdays per month 9AM to 1PM
  • Candidate must also have team oriented attitude and professionalism at all times
  • Strong computer/PC skills, ability to operate standard office machines needed to perform the job, such as computer terminal, calculator/adding machine, copier, and fax machine.
  • Must possess service focus and multitasking skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check including: Credit, Drug Screen, Bondability, & Criminal Background.
